1. "To keep the mind to appreciate to the other people": Establishment and continuation of Panasonic Scholarship come from Matsushita Electric's appreciation to the different countries which have brought the developement to our company. Similarly, you have been taken care of by many people including your professors, colleagues, friends and family members while studying in Japan. Please keep the appreciation in mind all the time. When you are successful, you must consider that the success comes not only from your strenuous efforts, but also from the warm support of your families and the other people. To remember the appreciation to the others is also the important factor to become a leader.
2. "Not to melt into but to mingle with the others": According to my experience to work in Singapore, I believe that both a group and an idividual can lean new things and develop himself, when not melt into but mingled with diversfied talents. Scholars, you may have "mingled with," but from now on, I wish, your distinctive colors and individualities will continue to coexist in harmony in your office without melting into the others.
In closing, as a representative of the scholars, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Tat Dat of The University of Tokyo, one of the first batch from Vietnam, showed his appreciation for the support from Matsushita Electric.
